Our rules for using Thspian. Read them to understand what you can do, what happens to your content, and your rights and responsibilities.
Thspian is a platform where creatives audition, compete, and collaborate with brands. We're built around real opportunities—auditions for roles, contests with prizes, and authentic partnerships. You're here to showcase your talent, build your career, and connect with people who matter.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Thspian. If you're under 13, a parent or legal guardian needs to give permission and agree to these terms.
We can't serve you if you're in a country under U.S. sanctions or on a government denied persons list.
When you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login information private. Everything that happens under your account is your responsibility. If something suspicious occurs, let us know immediately.
Yes. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason.
You own everything you create. When you upload content to Thspian, you give us permission to host it, display it, and promote it on the platform and through our marketing channels (with your credit). We may also adapt your content for different devices or formats—but you always own the original.
You're promising that:
We can remove your content, suspend your account, or terminate it entirely if you repeatedly break these rules. We're not responsible for what other users post—that's on them.
Thspian owns all rights to the platform itself—the design, functionality, trademarks, logos, and everything that makes the service work.
Your content is yours. But by uploading it, you're giving us a worldwide license to use it on the platform and for promotion.
If we use music, graphics, or other third-party content, we respect their rights and ownership. Your use of that content follows their terms.
No, not without written permission. Our trademarks are protected.
The platform is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or virus-free. You use Thspian at your own risk. If something goes wrong with your device or data because of something you downloaded, that's on you.
Yes. You can terminate your account anytime by contacting us or using the account settings. Once deleted, your content will no longer be public, but we may keep backups for a reasonable period.
Yes. We can terminate your account at any time, for any reason, without notice. Reasons include:
Your account gets deactivated. Any prizes or rewards you earned may be revoked. You won't get a refund for any fees you paid.
If something you do causes Thspian legal trouble, you agree to cover our legal costs and defend us. This includes claims related to your content, your conduct, or violations of these terms.
This obligation survives even after your account is deleted.
First, reach out to us directly at dispute@thspian.com and let's try to work it out.
If we can't resolve it informally, any dispute will be settled through binding arbitration under Delaware law, conducted in Delaware, in English. The arbitrator's decision is final.
Yes. Either of us can go to court to stop intellectual property theft, security breaches, or other immediate harm.
No. Both you and Thspian waive the right to a jury trial.
The party that wins gets to recover reasonable attorney fees from the loser.
We'll notify you by posting a notice on the platform or emailing you. If you keep using Thspian after the update, you're agreeing to the new terms. Don't like the changes? You can delete your account.
Changes don't apply retroactively—they only affect your future use of the platform.
If any part of these terms is invalid, that part gets removed but the rest stays in force.
Yes. These terms are the complete agreement between you and Thspian. We haven't made any promises beyond what's written here.
